Female Homicide Bomber Blows up Bus of Female Students, Followed by attack on hospital treating survivors, 11 dead

Sunni jihadists got a Muslim girl to slaughter a bus full of girls. It reminds me of the mothers and the sisters who hold down their daughters and/or siblings for FGM. It reminds me of the mothers and the sisters who help in the honor killing of their daughters and/or siblings. There is no love beyond the vicious and brutal ideology. No loyalty, no allegiance, no humanity is allowed beyond mindless servitude to a vicious and violent "god" that bears little to no resemblance to a Supreme Being, understood as Life, Truth, Love, Mind, Soul, Spirit, Principle.

Pakistan "Sunni militants claim responsibility for bus, hospital attacks in Pakistan" Dw.de, June 16, 2013

A group behind assaults on Shiites in Pakistan has claimed responsibility for tandem attacks on a university bus and a hospital that killed at least 24.

The Sunni extremist outfit Lashkar-e-Jhangvi announced on Sunday that it had sent a female suicide bomber to strike the bus in Quetta, capital of the restive Balochistan province, killing 14 students from a women’s university near a Shiite neighborhood on Saturday.

About 90 minutes later, a follow-up attack on the hospital treating survivors left at least 11 dead and led to a prolonged gun battle between security forces and militants occupying part of the building.

"The suicide attack on the bus was carried out by one of our sisters," said Abubakar Siddiq, a spokesman for Lashkar-e-Jhangvi. "She boarded the student bus and blew herself up. Then we carried out a second suicide attack at the hospital and our fighters killed several people. We did this because security forces killed our fighters and their wives in Kharotabad."

Troops fought gunmen who seized parts of the Bolan Medical Complex in Quetta after the initial explosion. The standoff lasted for several hours and ended when security forces stormed the building, freeing 35 people who had been taken hostage, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar told reporters on Saturday.

Quetta’s head of police operations, Fayaz Sumbal, said those killed in the hospital explosion included a senior government official who had arrived to assess the situation.

Attack on historic building

Earlier on Saturday, suspected separatists killed a policeman and gutted a historic summer retreat once used by Pakistan’s founder, Muhammad Ali Jinnah, in a hill town in the province.

Saturday’s attacks were the heaviest since bombings in Quetta at the start of the year claimed almost 200 lives and came only a week after Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif took office.

UK: Muslim with Machete Stabs Police Officer and three men at a mosque in Birmingham – Atlas Shrugs

A Somali Muslim repeatedly stabbed a police officer and three men at a mosque in Birmingham late last night. The police officer who was responding to a knife fight at the mosque was stabbed. The knee-jerk reaction from the Muslim community is grievance-mongering about islamophobia. It’s a pathology of a sort.

Police Officer Stabbed In Mosque Attack Sky News, June 16, 2013

The officer was stabbed as he arrived at a mosque in Birmingham where three people had been attacked by a knifeman.

Three men were stabbed with a large combat knife by a fellow worshipper inside the Washwood Heath Muslim Centre in the Ward End area on Saturday night.

A group of worshippers confronted the attacker, who is not known to the mosque, before police arrived minutes later at around 11pm.

One officer used a taser on the suspect but it failed to have an affect on him, said Chief Superintendent Alex Murray. The policeman was knifed in the chest and stomach, around his stab-proof vest.

A 32-year-old man, believed to be of Somali origin, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and is currently in custody.

Mohammed Shafiq, the leader of national Muslim organization the Ramadhan Foundation, said "There will obviously be people who will try to take advantage of this tragedy but we must not allow them to succeed."

People, anti-Muslim extremists, are going to try to take advantage of this – it’s very serious that a police officer has been stabbed during duty. The aftermath of the brutal murder of Lee Rigby has led to an increase of attacks." (here)

Whatever does he mean? This Islamic leader is concerned with the wrong things. Always looking to blame the kuffar. The problem isn’t imaginary "anti-Muslim backlash." The problem is the violence inherent in the Muslim community.

"I have spoken to someone who lives a few doors down from the mosque and they described hearing an argument between some of the people inside the mosque. It escalated into violence and a police officer has been stabbed.

"People, anti-Muslim extremists, are going to try to take advantage of this – it’s very serious that a police officer has been stabbed during duty.

"The aftermath of the brutal murder of Lee Rigby has led to an increase of attacks. The involvement of a police officer in this incident obviously causes more concern.

Man held as four stabbed at mosque in Birmingham BBC, June 16, 2013

A man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after four people, including a policeman, were stabbed at a mosque in Birmingham.

Officers were called to the mosque on Washwood Heath Road in Ward End at about 23:00 BST on Saturday.

West Midlands Police said three men were found with stab injuries.

As police arrested the man, who is 32 years old, the officer was also wounded. All four are in a stable condition.

The officer, aged 31, and a 28-year-old man suffered multiple stab wounds while a 36-year-old man sustained a single stab wound to his leg. All three were taken to hospital.

Another victim is recovering at home after injuring his hand.

The incident began during the final prayer session of the evening.

Ch Supt Alex Murray said the man they arrested was of Somalian descent and that a "sizeable knife" had been used in the attack.

Mr Murray said officers arrived at the mosque within four minutes of reports of the stabbings.

The suspect was found in a room in the mosque but when challenged he ran at one of the two police officers.

The officer, who suffered chest and stomach injuries, fired a Taser at the knifeman but it did not halt him, Mr Murray said.

"The individual was worshipping but not known to the mosque," he added, before thanking and reassuring the local community.

Domestic dispute

Dr Arshad Mahmood, who was at the mosque, said: "A man started stabbing one of the guys who was just sitting right next to him.

"I don’t know what exactly was the reason but he just started stabbing him.

"We went to save him. He had multiple injuries, three or four wounds.

"Then the policeman came and was also attacked and stabbed."

Mohammed Shafiq, the leader of national Muslim organization the Ramadhan Foundation, said his thoughts were with the injured and their families.

"I have spoken to someone who lives a few doors down from the mosque and they described hearing an argument between some of the people inside.

A 32-year-old man has been arrested following the incident on Saturday night

"It escalated into violence and a police officer has been stabbed."

According to Mr Shafiq, a nearby resident believed the dispute was a domestic incident between mosque members.

Mexican gangs trying to run black families out of southern California – National Immigration Reform

Does Obama plan to disarm them?

Does Obama plan to disarm them?

On Friday, Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Compton Varrio 155 gang members Jeffrey Aguilar, 19, and Efren Marquez, 21, as well as a juvenile. All three have reportedly been engaged in a campaign of violence and intimidation against a black family who moved into Compton last month.

All three are facing hate crimes charges.

Marquez allegedly held the victim at gunpoint while Aguilar beat the man with a metal pipe, according to detectives.

The suspects, along with dozens of others returned on a daily basis to intimidate the family.

The case is still under investigation and more arrests are expected.

The Los Angeles Times reported:

"When a friend came to visit, four men in a black SUV pulled up and called him a "nigger," saying black people were barred from the neighborhood, according to Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies. They jumped out, drew a gun on him and beat him with metal pipes.

It was just the beginning of what detectives said was a campaign by a Latino street gang to force an African American family to leave.

The attacks on the family are the latest in a series of violent incidents in which Latino gangs targeted blacks in parts of greater Los Angeles over the last decade.

Federal authorities have alleged in several indictments in the last decade that the Mexican Mafia prison gang has ordered street gangs under its control to attack African Americans. Leaders of the Azusa 13 gang were sentenced to lengthy prison terms earlier this month for leading a policy of attacking African American residents and expelling them from the town.

Similar attacks have taken place in Harbor Gateway, Highland Park, Pacoima, San Bernardino, Canoga Park and Wilmington, among other places. In the Compton case, sheriff’s officials say the gang appears to have been acting on its own initiative."

Why is Obama allowing Americans to be murdered by illegal aliens?

Why is Obama allowing Americans to be murdered by illegal aliens? Why is Obama allowing Americans to be murdered by illegal aliens?

Of course, violence directed at blacks by Latino gang members has been occurring at an alarming rate throughout southern California.

In April 2012, while testifying in the trial of a gang member, Erik Witholt, an Escondido police detective, told the court that a leader of the Mexican Mafia had ordered several Latino street gangs to work on "getting blacks out of Escondido."

An unidentified North County Latino gang member told the North County Times: "When he (Espudo) first got out [of prison], that’s one of the first things he did. He saw how things have changed, from when he went in to when he came out, so he made that ‘green light.’"

A ‘green light’ is a gang term for permission to severely beat or murder someone.

The North County Times reported that Mexican Mafia member Rudy Espudo has "directed street gang activity in inland North County. Espudo was arrested in January and indicted, with 118 other people, for a range of crimes, including racketeering and drug dealing," according to federal law enforcement.

Wilholt also said that violent, unprovoked attacks on blacks in Escondido have greatly increased since the powerful gang issued the order in 2008.

-On February 6, 2012, a black man sat waiting in a car with his girlfriend and her child, was at Rose Street and East Valley Parkway when seven Latino gang members surrounded their vehicle and repeatedly stabbed the man. The victim barely survived the ordeal.

Of course, violence directed at blacks by Latino gang members has been occurring at an alarming rate throughout California.

-In 2011, five Latino gang members were charged with hate crimes against black men in the Crown Heights neighborhood of Oceanside.

-In March 2008, as 17-year-old Jamiel Shaw walked home, illegal alien gang member Pedro Espinoza pulled alongside the teenager, and asked him what gang he was in. According to witnesses, the high school football standout did not answer him, he did not answer because he had no part of gang life.

According to police, Espinoza then opened fire on Jamiel, killing him only feet away from his house. His father heard the gunshots that would take his son from his side forever.

At the time of his murder, Jamiel’s mom, Anita Shaw, was deployed in Iraq with the U.S. Army. She returned home for his funeral.

Espinoza has pleaded not guilty and is awaiting trial for first-degree murder.

Because Los Angeles is a sanctuary city for illegal aliens, even violent gang members such as Espinoza are all too often placed back into the communities they terrorize, rather than turning them over to Immigration and Customs Enforcement for deportation.

The Shaw family continues to fight for the passage of "Jamiel’s Law" which would force Los Angeles law enforcement to crack down upon and target illegal alien gang members, much the same way the Shaw family and many others believe that those same illegal aliens are now targeting the black residents of L.A.

The family has a website dedicated to Jamiel, and the passage of the measure. Visitors can make a donation through the website, all donations go to purchasing media ads to promote "Jamiel’s Law" and to raise awareness of the dangers posed by illegal aliens to American citizens.

In late 2010, this reporter spoke with Jamiel’s aunt, Althea Rae Shaw, who said of her nephew: "I just miss him so much, he loved his country and he was so proud that his mom was serving in Iraq…he couldn’t wait to see her come home."

When asked what message she would like her community to hear, Mrs. Shaw said: "We really need to target Supervisor Ridley Thomas, we need to recall him and we really need a new city council."

"We need a city council geared to protecting American citizens, instead of illegal aliens. We need public officials who will stop bowing down to illegal aliens," she added.

Jamiel Shaw was not a gang member, nor was he a ‘troubled youth,’ nor did he fit into any of the categories or labels our society so often uses to explain away a senseless murder. He was a good kid with a very bright future, loved by a strong family…a family who still loves him and who still fights for him.

GOP Senator Preserves Loophole Giving Illegal Immigrants Immediate Welfare Access

Breitbart: RINO ALERT:
By Matthew Boyle
“Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) backed down from a previous promise his spokeswoman made to Breitbart News that he would consider voting in favor of amendments to the Senate’s immigration bill that would close a loophole allowing illegal immigrants immediate access to state and local welfare.
When Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) actually offered an amendment that would close the loophole during Tuesday’s Senate Judiciary Committee markup of the bill, Flake joined Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and all the committee Democrats in opposing the amendment.
As Breitbart News has previously detailed, Senate Budget Committee ranking member Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL) found a loophole in the immigration bill that would allow illegal immigrants access to state and local welfare immediately and would allow them access to federal benefits sooner than Gang of Eight members had publicly promised.
In response to the story, Flake’s spokeswoman Genevieve Rozansky told Breitbart News her boss acknowledged the existence of the loophole and would consider supporting an amendment to close it.”

Border Patrol Reports More Stash Houses in the Valley

June 5, 2013 Leave a comment

Posted: Jun 3, 2013 9:48 PM

WESLACO – Border Patrol officials said more stash houses are being discovered in the Rio Grande Valley.
Border Patrol agents on Monday arrested more than 30 illegal immigrants at a stash house north of Edinburg.
The house walls were covered with graffiti. Authorities said the symbols may be tied to criminal organization.
"A lot of the indicators on the wall are tied to transnational criminal organizations. There’s markings and other information up there. You may have one group that may have left a message behind for the next group. The information may be written on the wall," Border Patrol Spokesman Henry Mendiola said.
Mendiola said 27 of the 34 immigrants are from countries other then Mexico. Several women were among the immigrants.

"There’s very, very little privacy. They may have a door in the bathroom, but that’s all you’re going to get. The rest is done in the front of everybody else," Mendiola said.
Agents said the house appeared to have been used to hide immigrants for some time.
An hour after the raid, agents rushed to a field to look for a group of illegal immigrants. They said the immigrants were hiding along the road. They fled into the field when they saw the agents.
Agents arrested 40 immigrants at the site.
"These people ran about a half mile in this heat, and they’re not prepared for that. They haven’t had decent food or water and they’re not prepared to take on these elements," Mendiola said.

Border apprehensions up again. Big blow to immigration reform efforts?

June 4, 2013 Leave a comment

Apprehensions of illegal border-crossers are on pace to rise compared with last year. While the numbers are near historic lows, they could influence immigration reform efforts in Congress.

After years of steady declines, the number of people caught trying to cross the US-Mexico border illegally is ticking slowly upward.

The latest data from Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) show an increase of 13 percent over last year for the six-month period ending April 1. This follows fiscal year 2012, which saw a 9 percent rise in apprehensions along the southern border – the first such annual increase since 2004.

Demographers suggest that the numbers do not necessarily represent the beginning of a reversal, but rather natural fluctuations within evolving trends. More border traffic appears to be shifting away from Arizona, where the border patrol has increased its presence, and a rising share of the border-crossers in Texas are coming from Central America, not Mexico, they note.

RECOMMENDED: Could you pass a US citizenship test?

But the report could be significant in Congress, where many conservatives say their support for immigration reform depends on establishing a secure border. While lawmakers are divided over a way to measure security, rising numbers could complicate efforts at compromise.

The CBP data represent the half-year tally for fiscal year 2013. Along the 2,000-mile US-Mexico border, the agency recorded 189,172 arrests. While those numbers are up from last year, they are still near historic lows. Only two years have recorded fewer first-half apprehension figures than this year – 2011 and 2012.

"We really did hit bottom on the flows, and they may have gone up a little bit," says Jeff Passel, a senior demographer at the Hispanic Pew Center. "But they are well below what we saw in the middle of the last decade and are a small fraction of what we saw around 2000."

Want your top political issues explained? Get customized DC Decoder updates.

In 2000, apprehensions hit 1.68 million. At the current pace, apprehensions this year would near 380,000.

Immigration, demographers note, is driven by an array of factors, including border enforcement, and the economic conditions in Central America and Mexico.

In recent years, the ramping up of US border security, combined with the stuttering US economy has helped depress illegal immigration. Yet the more powerful long-term trend could be declining birth rates and rising urbanization in Mexico, which has led to fewer migrant workers coming the the US to look for jobs.

While the US economy is showing signs of slow improvement, the fundamentals haven’t changed, says Douglas Massey, a sociologist at Princeton University and co-director of the binational Mexican Migration Project.

"This is by no means a return to the mass migration that we saw in the 1990s and early 2000s," he says. "The big driving conditions on the Mexican side of the border have shifted."

What has shifted on the US side, perhaps, is the border patrol buildup. Illegal immigration has historically flowed to where border-crossing is easiest. In the 1990s, that was the San Diego sector. When the border patrol beefed up its presence there, Arizona’s Tucson sector become the most active. Now, there are signals that the border patrol’s mounting presence in the Tucson sector could be driving border-crossers to Texas.

The Rio Grande Valley in south Texas saw a significant spike in apprehensions in the first half of FY 2013. In March, it recorded more apprehensions that any other sector. Its 16,700 apprehensions in March represented a 67 percent increase over the same period last year. Meanwhile, the Tucson sector had 15,009 apprehensions in March, a 9 percent drop from last year.

With immigration reform before Congress, some lawmakers are say that the lure of US citizenship – along with budget cuts that hit the border patrol – are also driving up illegal immigration. “Part of it is that word has gotten south that sequestration has reduced our ability to surveil, and there may be comprehensive immigration reform,” said Sen. John McCain (R) of Arizona – a supporter of immigration reform – speaking of the fiscal year 2012 data.

With many Republicans saying that the the southern border must be certified as "secure" before immigration reforms can begin to take effect, the new numbers are likely to play a role in ongoing negotiations over how to measure security.
