Rising Illegal Immigration Reported on Univision, Telemundo

September 18, 2016 Leave a comment

Univision and Telemundo are reporting on the increased influx of unauthorized immigrants coming across Mexico’s border with the United States. In contrast, Univision and Telemundo’s English-language counterparts at ABC, CBS and NBC have yet to report on the trend.

Univision last week highlighted the dramatic increase of entire families crossing the border into the United States. Correspondent Pedro Rojas reported that the 68,000 family units that have unlawfully entered the country during fiscal year 2016 exceed the 66,000 that came in 2014, the year that saw a spike in unauthorized Central American children and parents crossing the border.

PEDRO ROJAS, CORRESPONDENT, UNIVISION: Official figures indicate that families detained at the border so far this year add up to more than 68,000 people; surpassing enormously the 66,000 apprehended throughout the entire fiscal year of 2014. What is serious about this situation is not just the increased detainment of undocumented families, but also the number of people dying while trying to enter the country through the border south of Texas.

MARLENE CASTRO, BORDER PATROL OFFICER: We’ve found 124 bodies so far this year, there only little over 3 weeks left for the rest of the year, that’s what really mortifies us.

Telemundo, meanwhile, reported on a growing crisis in Tijuana, Mexico where thousands of Haitian, along with Central American, migrants have gathered hoping to cross into the United States.

Correspondent Raúl Torres reported the Haitian migrants initially falsely claimed they were from Africa, and Mexican officials facilitated their movement through Mexico to the U.S. border.

RAÚL TORRES, CORRESPONDENT, TELEMUNDO: They’re more than 1,500. The Mexican government gave them a permit to get to the border until they discovered that there were fake passes. That is why the shelters are fuller than ever before.

Upon discovering the Haitian migrants’ false papers, Torres went on to report that instead of removing them from the country, Mexican officials have requested that the U.S. Government determine whether or not they can be received as humanitarian refugees.

Reporting on the same surge as Univision, the Washington Times noted that things have gotten so bad that some adults making the unlawful trek North from Central America to the United States are reportedly kidnapping children “so they can pose as families and earn easier treatment here.”

The events also occur while Fox News’ Malia Zimmerman reports of concerns that the Obama administration is stonewalling the release of a report that shows that “roughly half of adults who attempt to cross the border make it.”

Hand in hand with unauthorized border crossings also comes human and drug trafficking. PolitiFact recently confirmed that in the midst of a national heroin epidemic, heroin is pouring across the border into communities all around the country. Another tragic cost of the lack of security at the U.S. border are the countless lives lost, as Texas officials find scores of dead bodies of those that perish due to the searing heat and other causes.

OPINION-

I have heard a lot of idiotic statements from many world leaders but this one absolutely takes the cake in my opinion. Read it for yourself and see what you think…….

The President of Mexico threatened at the world economic summit grave consequences if Trump gets the Presidential seat: all the Mexicans in the USA will be going back home to Mexico.

The Mexican government announced they will close their borders to Americans in the event that Donald Trump is elected President of the United States. President Enrique Peña Nieto announced the country fears Americans will flood their country and bring violence and chaos to their streets. “Many Americans have expressed a desire to relocate to our country in the event that Donald Trump becomes President. We cannot have Mexico flooded with criminals and rapists,” he said. (But, all these “Americans” who want to flee are Democrats ! they can’t be criminals and rapists…)

In an interview with Telemundo, Nieto also announced that “further action will be taken by the Mexican government to ensure every single citizen of Mexico currently residing in the United States is brought home safely.” “We will not play around with something as important as the lives of our people. In our eyes and the eyes of every Mexican in the world, Donald Trump is a xenophobic, bigoted terrorist and imperialist who will ruin a country that was once a true friend of Mexico.” (And a true friend of the USA would never send it’s poor, uneducated, criminal people to the USA Either!)

However, many Mexicans who have managed to obtain a U.S. citizenship through legal channels fear this move. Mexico is currently the 3rd largest trading partner of the United States, with $507 billion worth of goods trade in 2013 alone. “Although shutting down the influx of billions of dollars that our people send home every month could cripple our economy, I still believe this is the right thing to do in the long run,” the President argued. “We’ll bring our people home, where it is safe and welcoming. We will be able to offer them better and more civilized working conditions.”

“Besides,” Nieto opined, “If, by some miracle, President Trump somehow manages to get back American jobs from China, which I doubt he’ll succeed, they’ll be needing good workers because they won’t be having any Mexicans anymore. But what they don’t understand is the fact that, if they do get those jobs back, they are going to cost the government much more than a simple low-wage Mexican worker would. And good luck trying to maintain the number one economy in the world then.”

“Too long has the Mexican worker in America been discriminated and oppressed because of his skin color,” the President stated. “And when our people come back home, they will take our food, music, culture and all things Mexican along with them. And in case you’re reading this, Mr. Trump – yes, that does include Mexican prostitutes you’re so secretly fond of. So, you can forget about the Sunday night specials with all-you-can-undress free deals. Because, we know everything.”

“Finally, I would like to add that all of your professional athletes, actors and actresses and pretty much all celebrities can kiss the steroids and drugs goodbye. Your country is built on cocaine, heroin, crack, marijuana (which is a Spanish word, by the way) and steroids that have come to America through Mexico. Thanks to these substances, you were able to have Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jackson, Nirvana and pretty much your entire popular culture. But, I guess you already knew that when you signed up to vote for Mr. Trump and his famous wall. Good luck with him, and good riddance,” President Nieto concluded in his interview. (well, that just took care of the illegal drug trade across our borders, thanks Sir)

Seriously, I doubt that he actually said any of this and No I have not taken any time to research it!

3 illegal immigrants charged in shooting death of 17-year-old high school student

Three illegal immigrants were charged Saturday in connection with the murder of a 17-year-old Virginia high school student who was gunned down on his way to a bus stop Friday morning.

According to The Washington Post, Danny Centeno-Miranda, who attended Park View High in Loudoun County, was about 50 yards from the school bus stop when he was shot twice in the back.

Centeno-Miranda, who moved to Virginia from his native El Salvador to live with relatives in 2013, died later at Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Three suspects, from Sterling, Va., were arrested Saturday morning, the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office announced, according to the paper.

“This was not a random incident.”

A 17-year-old is charged with second-degree murder and with using a firearm while committing a felony. His name was not released because he is a minor. Henry Dominguez Vasquez, 20, and Juan Aguirre Zelaya, 18, also were arrested and charged with being accessories to the shooting and with possession of a firearm while in the country illegally, the paper reported.

Authorities have learned that the suspects are undocumented immigrants based on information given to them by the suspects, Kraig Troxell, a spokesman for the Loudon County Sheriff’s Office, told The Washington Post.

All three suspects are to be arraigned Tuesday. They are being held without bond.

“This was not a random incident,” Sheriff Mike Chapman said at a news conference Saturday, the paper reported. “The suspects and the victim were known to each other.”

Investigators said at the news conference that the victim knew the suspected assailants from the neighborhood and may have lived in the same complex. The accused shooter may have attended Park View High with Centeno-Miranda, Richard Fiano, commander of the criminal investigations unit, said.

“We’re looking into that there may be some gang affiliation, however we don’t know what the reason was just yet for the incident taking place,” Chapman said, according to the paper.

Man Who Wrote 14th Amendment Explains It… Liberals Are FURIOUS!

Liberals who support Obama’s amnesty agenda love to defend “anchor babies.” That is the term that conservatives such as Donald Trump use to describe the citizenship given automatically to people born in the United States… even if their parents are illegal aliens.

But in 1866, the actual author of the post-Civil War Amendment – Senator Jacob M. Howard of Michigan – explained the real purpose of his amendment.

Unfortunately for liberals, it was only for granting citizenship to recently freed African slaves, not foreigners. In fact, it didn’t even include Native Americans.

Howard wrote “that every person born within the limits of the United States, and subject to their jurisdiction, is by virtue of natural law and national law a citizen of the United States. This will not, of course, include persons born in the United States who are foreigners, aliens, who belong to the families of ambassadors or foreign ministers accredited to the government of the United States, but will include every other class of persons.”

Sadly, the 14th Amendment is a wildly abused amendment, as it was also justification in the Roe V. Wade abortion case. Clearly, not enough Americans know what the amendment actually was intended for.

That means Donald Trump is 100% correct about the 14th Amendment, and the liberal media is completely wrong. The babies of illegals should not be considered citizens…

Busloads of Illegals Shopping at WALMART with EBT Cards

IN NEWS, OPINION, POLITICS, VIDEOS / BY SEAN BROWN / ON JULY 14, 2014 AT 11:27 AM /

If we were to listen only to the mainstream media and the talking points from the White House, they would have us believe that not only is the government doing everything possible in order to stop the invasion of our Southern border, but those who are crossing are refugee children who can’t be turned away. However, a video that was recorded on Sunday by a North Carolina woman places serious doubts on whether or not either of those things are true, as it allegedly shows busloads of adult illegal immigrants getting dropped off at a local Wal-Mart to shop for supplies for their shelter.

Sylvia Locklear was on her lunch break Sunday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. when she noticed something strange happening in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Concord, NC – there was busloads of what appeared to be adult illegal immigrants being dropped off to shop for everything from food to pillows and blankets. Angered by her discovery, Sylvia decided she was going to investigate a little further, and what she found should outrage every American citizen.

In the video above, Sylvia can be heard talking to another person who presumably was curious about what was going on, so she explained to them that prior to taking the video she had tried to talk to the people on the bus. Not only could they barely speak English, but one of them had said they had just arrived in America.

We all know that this has been happening, however, the sheriff of her town had said that they weren’t allowing any illegals to be shipped in, so it would appear as if the Obama regime is once again placing undue burdens on the states and not even letting them know what’s going on. What’s worse is that in the comments under the video she posted to Facebook, Sylvia said that when she was in line behind them that they were using government-issued EBT cards to pay for their purchases.

US LOST The “ILLEGAL IMMIGRANT CHILDREN”

July 14, 2014 Leave a comment

WASHINGTON — Two days after the White House declared that most immigrant kids crossing illegally from Central America would be sent back home, a top administration official admitted Wednesday that nearly half have already vanished within the United States.

The official, Juan Osuna, director of the Executive Office of Immigration Review at the Department of Justice, told a Senate committee that about 46 percent of all children, accompanied and unaccompanied, apprehended by authorities fail to show up for hearings before immigration judges.

He told the panel the office didn’t have a court-response rate for the unaccompanied children that have flooded through the southern border in recent months, so that rate could be even higher.

The rate could be even higher among the unaccompanied children that have flooded through the southern US border in recent months.
Osuna indicated that even kids who obey the law face lengthy waits inside the United States because immigration courts are overloaded with 375,000 cases, a record.

“We are facing the largest caseload that the agency has ever seen,” Osuna testified before the Senate Homeland Security Committee.

The eye-opening testimony left a far different impression of the border crisis than White House spokesman Josh Earnest did Monday, when he said the majority of the illegal-immigrant kids wouldn’t be allowed to stay.

“Based on what we know about these cases, it is unlikely that most of these kids will qualify for humanitarian relief,” Earnest said. “And what that means is they will not have a legal basis for remaining in this country and will be returned.”
Critics fret that the kids will eventually go underground.

The Senate hearing came on a day when President Obama headed to Texas amid criticism the administration has been slow to react to the torrent of kids fleeing largely from Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador.

The number of unaccompanied kids caught since October hit 57,000, more than double the number last year.

“The fact is that people show up and they have every reason to believe, according to these numbers, that … there is ample incentive for them to come to this country,” said Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.).

Children from Central American countries by law are granted due process before the immigration court system to determine whether they can stay in the country legally for humanitarian reasons.

They are required to be held in the least restrictive environment, so that means about 95 percent are released to family or adult sponsors in the United States pending court hearings, Mark Greenberg, an HHS official told the Senate panel.
Under tough questioning from Sen. Tom Coburn ( R-Okla.), Greenberg admitted the administration has a policy of not checking the immigration status of the relatives who receive the children.

It’s no wonder, Coburn said, the children aren’t coming back to court because their relatives now fear deportation.

“The likelihood they [the children] are going to show up before a judge is markedly diminished because it exposes them [their relatives],” Coburn said.
Greenberg countered that his department’s priority is making sure the children are placed in a safe home.

New ‘Regional Visitor Card’ grants permission to travel to Rio Grande
Jerome R. Corsi
World Net Daily

Mexican President Peña Nieto meeting with U.S. President Obama in 2013
NEW YORK – Mexico and Guatemala have reached an agreement that is intended to make it easier and safer for Central Americans, including unaccompanied minors, to enter the United States illegally.

Though largely unreported in the U.S. mainstream media, the two nations agreed on July 7, in a presidential-level meeting in Mexico, to make it legal and safe for Central American immigrants, including unaccompanied minors, to cross Mexico’s border with Guatemala and transit Mexico en route to the U.S. border at the Rio Grande.

The agreement apparently does not recognize that the result of such trips – entry into the United States – remains illegal.

But to facilitate the program, the Mexican government announced plans to issue a new “Regional Visitor Card” that will provide documentation for the Central Americans to remain in Mexico as long as it takes to get to the United States.

Under the auspices of a “Southern Border Program,” Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto and Guatemalan President Otto Pérez, in a meeting in Mexico, agreed to take five concrete steps designed to “protect and safeguard the human rights of migrants who enter and transit Mexico, so as to order international routes of passage [in and through Mexico] to increase and develop the security of the region.”

The five steps in Mexican “Southern Border Program” included the following action steps:

1. Mexico established for the Central American migrants transiting through Mexico a new Mexican-government issued “Regional Visitor Card” that instructs the Mexican National Institute of Migration to recognize the holder as having been granted by the Mexican government the right to a “temporary stay” in Mexico. The purpose of the “Regional Visitor Card” is to grant Central American migrants entering Mexico across the border with Guatemala enough time and legal status to complete their journey to the United States.

2. Mexico plans to open 10 new border crossing checkpoints on the border with Guatemala and two more on the border with Belize to function as “Comprehensive Care Centers for Border Transit,” designed to register the Central American migrants with Mexican immigration authorities and to issue “Regional Cards” as part of a formal government processing allowing migrants from Central America to transit into Mexico on an official basis.

3. Mexico has decided to expand throughout the country the five medical care units originally established in Chiapas to give medical aid and temporary shelter to Central American migrants transiting through Mexico, with special attention given to unaccompanied minors.

4. Mexico has decided to create a new “Office for the Coordination of Comprehensive Social Services for Migrants on the Southern Border” to be attached to the Ministry of the Interior, tasked with coordinating interagency Mexican government efforts to provide humanitarian care and assistance provided by the Mexican government to migrants crossing the border with Guatemala, so as to guarantee respect for the human rights of the migrants.

5. Mexico pledged to continue playing an active role working with international organizations to participate in conferences organized to promote legal immigration, including continued sponsorship of forums including Mexico’s National Conference on Migration.
In the spirit that migration of Central Americans from Guatemala through Mexico will be more secure if it is more formally organized, Peña Nieto announced Mexico’s new “Southern Border Program” was a step in the right direction.

Guatemalan President Otto Pérez noted the border between Guatemala and Mexico “offers an opportunity to show how we can improve the treatment of migrants and the relations between two peoples – Guatemalans and Mexicans – who have traditionally been brothers.”
Peña Nieto also explained that the governments of Mexico and Guatemala have been working in cooperation with authorities in El Salvador and Honduras “to work in the same direction to make Central American migration more organized and safer.”

Peña Nieto further announced that the Mexican Ministry of the Interior, working together with officials from Guatemala, will strengthen law enforcement intelligence gathering regarding Central American migrants to develop a technological platform to share in gathering the real-time biometric information believed essential for a formal registration process to issue the migrants appropriate Mexican government documentation for use in their transit across Mexico.

In announcing the agreement reached between Mexico and Guatemala, the national edition of El Universal released a video in which former prime minister of Greece, George Papandreou, gave a presentation in English (with Spanish subtitles).
To view video please click on the source link.
Papandreou’s purpose appears to be to lecture the United States regarding the current flood of Central American immigrants, including unaccompanied minors, arriving in the U.S. daily, and illegally.
Papandreou encouraged the United States to extend the legal right to Central American immigrants to stay in the U.S., housing them in temporary shelters where they can receive secure and humane treatment while the United States creates for them a pathway to citizenship, as well as providing the right to seek employment and the opportunity to be reunited in the United States with their families.
The flood of illegal alien immigrants from Central America, especially children, has spiked in recent months, with tens of thousands flooding into the United States. The U.S. government already is transporting them to multiple other locations to house them.
Critics of the U.S. president say his announcement of a policy to defer deportation actions against children has sent a message to Central America that if children can reach the United States, they not only will face no punishment, but will be granted housing, medical, education and even legal benefits.
