Rising Illegal Immigration Reported on Univision, Telemundo

September 18, 2016 Leave a comment

Univision and Telemundo are reporting on the increased influx of unauthorized immigrants coming across Mexico’s border with the United States. In contrast, Univision and Telemundo’s English-language counterparts at ABC, CBS and NBC have yet to report on the trend.

Univision last week highlighted the dramatic increase of entire families crossing the border into the United States. Correspondent Pedro Rojas reported that the 68,000 family units that have unlawfully entered the country during fiscal year 2016 exceed the 66,000 that came in 2014, the year that saw a spike in unauthorized Central American children and parents crossing the border.

PEDRO ROJAS, CORRESPONDENT, UNIVISION: Official figures indicate that families detained at the border so far this year add up to more than 68,000 people; surpassing enormously the 66,000 apprehended throughout the entire fiscal year of 2014. What is serious about this situation is not just the increased detainment of undocumented families, but also the number of people dying while trying to enter the country through the border south of Texas.

MARLENE CASTRO, BORDER PATROL OFFICER: We’ve found 124 bodies so far this year, there only little over 3 weeks left for the rest of the year, that’s what really mortifies us.

Telemundo, meanwhile, reported on a growing crisis in Tijuana, Mexico where thousands of Haitian, along with Central American, migrants have gathered hoping to cross into the United States.

Correspondent Raúl Torres reported the Haitian migrants initially falsely claimed they were from Africa, and Mexican officials facilitated their movement through Mexico to the U.S. border.

RAÚL TORRES, CORRESPONDENT, TELEMUNDO: They’re more than 1,500. The Mexican government gave them a permit to get to the border until they discovered that there were fake passes. That is why the shelters are fuller than ever before.

Upon discovering the Haitian migrants’ false papers, Torres went on to report that instead of removing them from the country, Mexican officials have requested that the U.S. Government determine whether or not they can be received as humanitarian refugees.

Reporting on the same surge as Univision, the Washington Times noted that things have gotten so bad that some adults making the unlawful trek North from Central America to the United States are reportedly kidnapping children “so they can pose as families and earn easier treatment here.”

The events also occur while Fox News’ Malia Zimmerman reports of concerns that the Obama administration is stonewalling the release of a report that shows that “roughly half of adults who attempt to cross the border make it.”

Hand in hand with unauthorized border crossings also comes human and drug trafficking. PolitiFact recently confirmed that in the midst of a national heroin epidemic, heroin is pouring across the border into communities all around the country. Another tragic cost of the lack of security at the U.S. border are the countless lives lost, as Texas officials find scores of dead bodies of those that perish due to the searing heat and other causes.

OPINION-

I have heard a lot of idiotic statements from many world leaders but this one absolutely takes the cake in my opinion. Read it for yourself and see what you think…….

The President of Mexico threatened at the world economic summit grave consequences if Trump gets the Presidential seat: all the Mexicans in the USA will be going back home to Mexico.

The Mexican government announced they will close their borders to Americans in the event that Donald Trump is elected President of the United States. President Enrique Peña Nieto announced the country fears Americans will flood their country and bring violence and chaos to their streets. “Many Americans have expressed a desire to relocate to our country in the event that Donald Trump becomes President. We cannot have Mexico flooded with criminals and rapists,” he said. (But, all these “Americans” who want to flee are Democrats ! they can’t be criminals and rapists…)

In an interview with Telemundo, Nieto also announced that “further action will be taken by the Mexican government to ensure every single citizen of Mexico currently residing in the United States is brought home safely.” “We will not play around with something as important as the lives of our people. In our eyes and the eyes of every Mexican in the world, Donald Trump is a xenophobic, bigoted terrorist and imperialist who will ruin a country that was once a true friend of Mexico.” (And a true friend of the USA would never send it’s poor, uneducated, criminal people to the USA Either!)

However, many Mexicans who have managed to obtain a U.S. citizenship through legal channels fear this move. Mexico is currently the 3rd largest trading partner of the United States, with $507 billion worth of goods trade in 2013 alone. “Although shutting down the influx of billions of dollars that our people send home every month could cripple our economy, I still believe this is the right thing to do in the long run,” the President argued. “We’ll bring our people home, where it is safe and welcoming. We will be able to offer them better and more civilized working conditions.”

“Besides,” Nieto opined, “If, by some miracle, President Trump somehow manages to get back American jobs from China, which I doubt he’ll succeed, they’ll be needing good workers because they won’t be having any Mexicans anymore. But what they don’t understand is the fact that, if they do get those jobs back, they are going to cost the government much more than a simple low-wage Mexican worker would. And good luck trying to maintain the number one economy in the world then.”

“Too long has the Mexican worker in America been discriminated and oppressed because of his skin color,” the President stated. “And when our people come back home, they will take our food, music, culture and all things Mexican along with them. And in case you’re reading this, Mr. Trump – yes, that does include Mexican prostitutes you’re so secretly fond of. So, you can forget about the Sunday night specials with all-you-can-undress free deals. Because, we know everything.”

“Finally, I would like to add that all of your professional athletes, actors and actresses and pretty much all celebrities can kiss the steroids and drugs goodbye. Your country is built on cocaine, heroin, crack, marijuana (which is a Spanish word, by the way) and steroids that have come to America through Mexico. Thanks to these substances, you were able to have Arnold Schwarzenegger, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jackson, Nirvana and pretty much your entire popular culture. But, I guess you already knew that when you signed up to vote for Mr. Trump and his famous wall. Good luck with him, and good riddance,” President Nieto concluded in his interview. (well, that just took care of the illegal drug trade across our borders, thanks Sir)

Seriously, I doubt that he actually said any of this and No I have not taken any time to research it!

Busloads of Illegals Shopping at WALMART with EBT Cards

IN NEWS, OPINION, POLITICS, VIDEOS / BY SEAN BROWN / ON JULY 14, 2014 AT 11:27 AM /

If we were to listen only to the mainstream media and the talking points from the White House, they would have us believe that not only is the government doing everything possible in order to stop the invasion of our Southern border, but those who are crossing are refugee children who can’t be turned away. However, a video that was recorded on Sunday by a North Carolina woman places serious doubts on whether or not either of those things are true, as it allegedly shows busloads of adult illegal immigrants getting dropped off at a local Wal-Mart to shop for supplies for their shelter.

Sylvia Locklear was on her lunch break Sunday afternoon around 1:30 p.m. when she noticed something strange happening in the parking lot of Wal-Mart in Concord, NC – there was busloads of what appeared to be adult illegal immigrants being dropped off to shop for everything from food to pillows and blankets. Angered by her discovery, Sylvia decided she was going to investigate a little further, and what she found should outrage every American citizen.

In the video above, Sylvia can be heard talking to another person who presumably was curious about what was going on, so she explained to them that prior to taking the video she had tried to talk to the people on the bus. Not only could they barely speak English, but one of them had said they had just arrived in America.

We all know that this has been happening, however, the sheriff of her town had said that they weren’t allowing any illegals to be shipped in, so it would appear as if the Obama regime is once again placing undue burdens on the states and not even letting them know what’s going on. What’s worse is that in the comments under the video she posted to Facebook, Sylvia said that when she was in line behind them that they were using government-issued EBT cards to pay for their purchases.

Congressmen: Yes, Obama Is Using Cloward-Piven Strategy to Collapse the System

July 12, 2014 1 comment

In regard to the sudden illegal immigrant surge at the U.S.-Mexico border, two Congressmen have gone on record to confirm President Obama is indeed using a Cloward-Piven strategy to overwhelm America, WND is reporting.
For a look back on how the Obama Administration brought us to this point, enter into evidence two extensive timelines:

But here are just three very basic examples floating around the news lately that get the idea across easily enough.

So, in essence, our government officials knew this wave of illegal immigrants were coming to our borders, and they planned for it well before it hit, because they’ve known for quite some time the Obama Administration’s policies are causing it to happen.
This is in addition to the fact that a 2013 ICE document reveals in detail the fact that over 36,000 criminal illegal aliens were released from our government’s custody while awaiting the outcome of deportation proceedings in that year alone. These people had a whopping 88,000 convictions between them, including homicide, sexual assault, kidnapping, aggravated assault, car theft, and drunk/drugged driving to name just a few.
Sounds a lot like a set up, doesn’t it?
Well, now Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa and Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas both agree that the Obama Administration’s policies are derived from a Cloward-Piven strategy — a strategy concocted by radical sociologists to crash the system and transform America into a socialist state.
WND reports:

“I do feel this attempt to flood the border with illegals is a playing out of the Cloward-Piven theory,” said Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa.
“If you don’t see them bring reinforcements down there to seal the border, that means that, yes, it’s a Cloward-Piven maneuver to flood the country until we get to the point where we are an open-borders country that welcomes everybody, legal and illegal,” he told WND.
Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, agreed that Obama – who studied the chaos strategy at Columbia, according to a classmate – “is trying to do a Cloward-Piven thing with the border.”
“Obama follows all the far-left, Leninist, socialist-type stuff,” Stockman told WND.

Wikipedia sums up the Cloward-Piven strategy as, “a political strategy outlined in 1966 by American sociologists and political activists Richard Cloward and Frances Fox Piven that called for overloading the U.S. public welfare system in order to precipitate a crisis that would lead to a replacement of the welfare system with a national system of ‘a guaranteed annual income and thus an end to poverty’.”
Border resources are already being overwhelmed. The House Homeland Security Chair is calling it a “crisis like nothing I’ve ever seen”. A potential pandemic is becoming more likely by the day, as people crossing into the country are reportedly infected with everything from drug-resistant tuberculosis to HIV to scabies, rabies and dengue hemorrhagic fever — people who are barely being checked out and definitely not properly quarantined from otherwise healthy people. Border Patrol whistleblowers are coming forward, despite an Obama Administration gag order

Border Patrol Reports More Stash Houses in the Valley

WESLACO – Border Patrol officials said more stash houses are being discovered in the Rio Grande Valley.
Border Patrol agents on Monday arrested more than 30 illegal immigrants at a stash house north of Edinburg.
The house walls were covered with graffiti. Authorities said the symbols may be tied to criminal organization.
"A lot of the indicators on the wall are tied to transnational criminal organizations. There’s markings and other information up there. You may have one group that may have left a message behind for the next group. The information may be written on the wall," Border Patrol Spokesman Henry Mendiola said.
Mendiola said 27 of the 34 immigrants are from countries other then Mexico. Several women were among the immigrants.

"There’s very, very little privacy. They may have a door in the bathroom, but that’s all you’re going to get. The rest is done in the front of everybody else," Mendiola said.
Agents said the house appeared to have been used to hide immigrants for some time.
An hour after the raid, agents rushed to a field to look for a group of illegal immigrants. They said the immigrants were hiding along the road. They fled into the field when they saw the agents.
Agents arrested 40 immigrants at the site.
"These people ran about a half mile in this heat, and they’re not prepared for that. They haven’t had decent food or water and they’re not prepared to take on these elements," Mendiola said.

Border apprehensions up again. Big blow to immigration reform efforts?

June 4, 2013 Leave a comment

Apprehensions of illegal border-crossers are on pace to rise compared with last year. While the numbers are near historic lows, they could influence immigration reform efforts in Congress.

After years of steady declines, the number of people caught trying to cross the US-Mexico border illegally is ticking slowly upward.

The latest data from Customs and Border Patrol (CBP) show an increase of 13 percent over last year for the six-month period ending April 1. This follows fiscal year 2012, which saw a 9 percent rise in apprehensions along the southern border – the first such annual increase since 2004.

Demographers suggest that the numbers do not necessarily represent the beginning of a reversal, but rather natural fluctuations within evolving trends. More border traffic appears to be shifting away from Arizona, where the border patrol has increased its presence, and a rising share of the border-crossers in Texas are coming from Central America, not Mexico, they note.

But the report could be significant in Congress, where many conservatives say their support for immigration reform depends on establishing a secure border. While lawmakers are divided over a way to measure security, rising numbers could complicate efforts at compromise.

The CBP data represent the half-year tally for fiscal year 2013. Along the 2,000-mile US-Mexico border, the agency recorded 189,172 arrests. While those numbers are up from last year, they are still near historic lows. Only two years have recorded fewer first-half apprehension figures than this year – 2011 and 2012.

"We really did hit bottom on the flows, and they may have gone up a little bit," says Jeff Passel, a senior demographer at the Hispanic Pew Center. "But they are well below what we saw in the middle of the last decade and are a small fraction of what we saw around 2000."

In 2000, apprehensions hit 1.68 million. At the current pace, apprehensions this year would near 380,000.

Immigration, demographers note, is driven by an array of factors, including border enforcement, and the economic conditions in Central America and Mexico.

In recent years, the ramping up of US border security, combined with the stuttering US economy has helped depress illegal immigration. Yet the more powerful long-term trend could be declining birth rates and rising urbanization in Mexico, which has led to fewer migrant workers coming the the US to look for jobs.

While the US economy is showing signs of slow improvement, the fundamentals haven’t changed, says Douglas Massey, a sociologist at Princeton University and co-director of the binational Mexican Migration Project.

"This is by no means a return to the mass migration that we saw in the 1990s and early 2000s," he says. "The big driving conditions on the Mexican side of the border have shifted."

What has shifted on the US side, perhaps, is the border patrol buildup. Illegal immigration has historically flowed to where border-crossing is easiest. In the 1990s, that was the San Diego sector. When the border patrol beefed up its presence there, Arizona’s Tucson sector become the most active. Now, there are signals that the border patrol’s mounting presence in the Tucson sector could be driving border-crossers to Texas.

The Rio Grande Valley in south Texas saw a significant spike in apprehensions in the first half of FY 2013. In March, it recorded more apprehensions that any other sector. Its 16,700 apprehensions in March represented a 67 percent increase over the same period last year. Meanwhile, the Tucson sector had 15,009 apprehensions in March, a 9 percent drop from last year.

With immigration reform before Congress, some lawmakers are say that the lure of US citizenship – along with budget cuts that hit the border patrol – are also driving up illegal immigration. “Part of it is that word has gotten south that sequestration has reduced our ability to surveil, and there may be comprehensive immigration reform,” said Sen. John McCain (R) of Arizona – a supporter of immigration reform – speaking of the fiscal year 2012 data.

With many Republicans saying that the the southern border must be certified as "secure" before immigration reforms can begin to take effect, the new numbers are likely to play a role in ongoing negotiations over how to measure security.

Victims of Illegal Immigration

Re: Victims of Illegal Immigration
February 20, 2013
President Obama –

I apologize about the length of this letter. However, I wanted to present the FULL picture of what Illegal Immigrants have taken from our family, and how devastated this law abiding American family is at the hands of crime carried out by the hands of Illegal Immigrants.
Over the last month, we have heard calls for Comprehensive Immigration Reform. We have heard several plans and ideas covering just about all facets. But there has been one glaring group of people left out of the debate, who the media and politicians have not allowed to have a voice or opinion. The ones I speak of are those of us that have been victims of crimes, carried out by the hands of Illegal Immigrants.
One of the largest campaigns by Politicians and pro-amnesty groups is to brand Illegal Immigrants, as good people that are really not criminals. We have even had Politicians lecture Congressional Hearing Witnesses and fellow politicians to not call Illegal Immigrants “Illegal”.
Regardless of how noble the intentions Illegal Immigrants are for breaking many laws, they are breaking Federal Immigration Law. Our governments own statistics estimate that over 80% of Illegal Immigrants commit Identity Theft – which means millions of Americans are victimized every year and have their financial and sometimes legal lives, turned upside down. Illegal Immigrants commit a myriad of secondary laws to cover up the first Federal Crime broken – including committing Identity and Credit Theft against American Citizens, committing Perjury on pre- employment forms, driving illegally and without insurance, lying to get Federal Benefits, take jobs from Americans, just to name a few. But again, we are told not to call those who break law “Illegal”, regardless of who they victimize and how bad they victimize them. And let’s not forget, that 100% of Illegal Immigrants have broken Federal Immigration Law.
I grew up the oldest of eleven children, in an economically depressed part of Iowa. Our family never had much, but always had an excess of love for each other and pushed the ethics of hard work, and respect for the law. I worked hard to get a full Music Scholarship to College, as I knew that I was on my own to pay for college. After college was over, I loaded up my car with the very few possessions that I had and with just barely enough gas money to get to Los Angeles to get my start in the Private Sector. I wasn’t sure how I was going to make it when I got there, but I knew somehow I would make things work – which I did. I didn’t rob a bank to get “cushion money”, I didn’t steal someone’s identity to get credit cards to fund finances, I did it 100% on my own.
A year and a half later in December of 2001, I returned to the Mid-West and got into the Public Safety, and served as a Correctional Officer and Police Officer. During my tenure as a Police Officer, I became aware that I was a victim of Identity and Credit Theft when purchasing a newer car in the latter part of 2002 (while I was still a police officer nonetheless). I took boxes of evidence I recovered after spending hundreds of hours and thousands of dollars investigating the Identity and Credit Theft to a local Social Security Administration Office. A few weeks later, they informed me that the SSA (Social Security Administration) would issue me a new Social Security number to use. The SSA, with nearly endless resources to get further (and much more quickly) with the investigation, revealed that they traced the origins of my Identity and Credit Theft to an Illegal Immigration Ring, and my information was used by multiple individuals at very short intervals each. And it would further be used – and there was really no way to stop it, or really lock it down to the exact individuals based off of the way Illegal Immigrant Rings operate.
It is now 11 years later in 2013, and I am still dealing with destroyed personal credit. I have reached out and tried getting more help from the Social Security Administration, the FTC (that ironically was supposed to be the silver bullet with legislation from your Administration which has been zero help and resulted in zero results), Law Enforcement Agencies, Credit Bureau Agencies, Credit Repair Agencies, etc. Even though the Social Security Administration changed my Social Security Number at the on-set, all of my other identifiers matched when applying for credit or getting credit checked for utilities, which merged the newer credit file and the old credit file – being zero help.
I got back into the Private Sector in January of 2003, as I knew if I wanted to have financial freedom and change our family tree forever in a positive way, I had to develop the skills and knowledge to run a successful business.
Starting in January 2003, I started working for a Trucking/Logistics company in Utah. I knew the Logistics/Supply Chain Industry had a lot of opportunity, and was more recession-proof than most industries. I started befriending every rich and successful business person that I could find – hanging out with them to sponge off of their experience, stories, lessons, and advice. I was amazed to find out that every single rich person I met grew up much like I did – not like the “silver spooned trust fund brat” that we are told so much to envy and have distain for. I was also reading as much as I could about business and making sure I was working harder than anyone at my company, and my competition around the Industry. I sacrificed a lot of social time. I wasn’t out wasting time and money in the bars like most of my buddies. I didn’t watch reality television or overwhelm in sporting events (though I did watch an occasional game). I stayed current on the news, current events, and kept studying history since I have a passion for history.
By mid 2007, I was Senior Management at my second company in the Logistics Industry, and was a known and trusted individual in the Industry. It was at this time, I decided to make my move, after the company reneged on some “back-end” bonus/commission structure that I was due after some Management changes above me.
My best friend and wife, Jen, and I decided to invest our families’ small savings that we had saved, about $10,000.00, into forming and starting a small Logistics Company. It was a gamble, with help from no one else. With a lot of blood, sweat, and tears – sleepless nights on how to make payroll and how to pay the bills in the beginning, employees getting paid when I could not afford to pay myself during the first year, etc., we turned our company into a successful company.
By mid 2010, we had really turned the corner as a company, and a family. The company was expanding and our family was able to finally enjoy some financial freedom – All while still working as hard as I ever had in my life.
Then “it” happened
– the second and most devastating crime against me by an Illegal Immigrant.
In July of 2010, we were in Utah visiting my wife’s family at a house there that we had just purchased (as a 2nd house that we had paid cash for). Jen’s entire family lives in Utah. We had lived in Texas since January of 2004 which we loved, but now enjoyed being able to have a house to go to in Utah for extended periods to be around my wife’s family. And it was one of my proudest achievements to give Jen something so special!
My one hobby is riding sports motorcycles. And it was especially enjoyable to enjoy this hobby through the mountains all around us while in Utah, as I took my sports bike to Utah with us. I am an avid and skilled rider, and had been since I was 18 years old. So I had ridden for about 14 years, and NEVER had a single accident.
What ended up being a tragic day in July of 2010, was uneventful most of the day to say the least. It was towards the end of the workday – the company was running good back in Texas, and I was in a great mood. I could remotely do all my duties from Utah and if I needed to I could catch a flight to Dallas/Fort Worth if I needed. I noticed on the way past a mirror that it was time to get a haircut as I did about every 2 weeks to stay “squared away”. I decided to take my motorcycle to the “old fashioned” Barber Shop that was in the Historic part of downtown, which was about 2 miles away. I arrived quick, got my haircut by my usual “seasoned” female Barber who is absolutely gifted at what she does with hair and how she ran her Barber Shop (even gave a shoulder massage after each haircut).
I walked out after getting my haircut feeling great as always. I jumped on my motorcycle, started it up, and pulled away. About 3 blocks down the street on this slow moving road, as with every intersection, I looked left, then right, then left, then just as I looked right the last time as I entered the intersection, the car that was there on the side street waiting to pull out in my lane had pulled right out in front of me. It was a two-way street, so if I would have swerved left I would hit an oncoming vehicle. If I went right I would have hit parked vehicles. All I could do is yank the brakes hard as possible and push myself back to keep the back of the bike down – which didn’t happen. It was like slow motion. I felt the back of the motorcycle lifting up off of the ground, and weightlessness as I lifted off of the seat and flew over the handlebars. As I got ready to make impact with the side of the car, I tucked my head as much as I could. I hit parallel with the road, left shoulder first – much like a football player would make a big diving hit. The impact was so violent, that it immediately shattered the left side of my rib cage into dozens of breaks and fragments, broke an ankle, severely sprained another ankle, severely tore tendons in my left shoulder, broke the blood vessels in my eyes to turn them blood red, etc. The pain was indescribable.
While motorists were attending to me lying in the street struggling to breathe until an ambulance could get there, no one saw the female driver of the car that took me out, drive away. But she sure did.
I spent the next 3 weeks in the ICU, in and out of major open chest surgeries to stop the bleeding, as the ribs exploded in my chest causing a tremendous amount of internal damage. Between those surgeries, I vaguely remember a visit by a detective letting me know they caught the lady that had hit me, and then ran after. She was an Illegal Immigrant. The Detective said that she had no driver’s license, insurance, or assets that they could find to hold her here to allow me to try and court order and freeze assets.
They said about their only option was to turn her over to Immigration and have her deported. I gave my approval, since there was nothing to sue her for, and the criminal punishment was very lite. Even though I know she would more than likely be back over the border almost immediately, it was the most “inconvenience” that she would be served after what she had done to me (as she had nothing to sue her for, the criminal penalty was marginal, etc.).
After that meeting, I continued to get worked on by an amazing hospital staff. I spent a total of about 3 months in the hospital. When they sent me home, I was still on oxygen and still very much a mess. It was a slow, grueling recovery. My total recovery was about a year and a half long, to where I was able to get as close to back as normal as I could. To this day, I still have a couple broken ribs that will never heal unless I have them surgically fixed. And I have to stay on a nerve block pharmaceutical regimen that I have to stay on daily to relieve the pain from the still broken ribs.
But here are the real losses. My medical bills from the 3 months in the hospital alone, totaled $1.2 Million Dollars. I have incurred over $100,000.00 more in medical bills after my release from the hospital over the past 2 ½ years. I lost my business, we lost our houses that we had paid cash for (like responsible people we never went into debt with a mortgage), we lost our considerable life savings, etc. We liquidated everything to pay the bills. Even though I should have not been responsible for paying the bills associated with this accident, they needed to be paid. I felt it was the right thing to do, after they saved my life (obviously the Illegal Immigrant wasn’t going to do anything).
Mr. President, we have lost everything at the hands of Illegal Immigrants, and by those that support them by refusing to secure the border after we were promised as a nation in 1986 that we would once and for all seal the border. We lost the business that I built from nothing. We lost our life savings. We lost the roof over our heads. You keep speaking about Justice and support for those who will break any law that is inconvenient for them, and for those who destroy Americans lives without a single care for whose lives they destroy. In my case, the Illegal Immigrant wouldn’t even stop to help save my life that SHE about killed. Where is my justice? Where is my wife’s justice? Where is my children’s justice?
My business that I built from nothing was to be my children’s birthright, and the birthright of my children’s children. Yet, while we did nothing wrong, played by the rules, followed all the laws, etc., we had an Illegal Immigrant break over a dozen laws to give their children a birthright of Citizenship forged by breaking every law that inconvenienced them, forged on crushing American Families dreams, and sealed by a reward of amnesty by a Federal Government that seeks potential new votes in elections. Because the laws she broke would not be “severe” enough to get deported under what is being discussed now, she would have to pay a small fine, possibly back taxes (good luck proving taxes when she says she had been unemployed here), and that is about it if the plans now were implemented. She has destroyed a family, destroyed a business, destroyed jobs and future jobs, and the Illegal Immigrant woman will be the only one who comes out ahead in the whole story. How is this justice Mr. President?
We have heard from both Democrats and now some Republicans that since breaking Federal Law is well intentioned, that we should let Illegal Immigrants keep “the fruit of the crime” – meaning to stay in the country. Since my family is in need right now, if I broke Federal Law by robbing a bank since we need the money, would the United States Government tell me we could keep the money which is the “fruit of the crime”, and only pay a small fine? Of course not. I have searched through history to find a single crime where Federal Crimes were broken, and the criminals were told to keep the profits of the crime since they were “well intentioned”, or “needed”, and to just pay a small fine. I could not find a single case.
As much as I blame the Illegal Immigrant for ruining our life, I also blame the Federal Government. In one of the actual few Constitutionally mandated duties that the Federal Government has – to protect United States Citizens from outside forces – which includes Illegal Immigrants. It is also the duty of the government to ensure Justice is administered blindly and equally.
Our country during the debate and passage of the 1986 Immigration and Reform Control Act, was promised in a speech on the floor of the Senate by Democrat Senator Ted Kennedy “This amnesty will give citizenship to only 1.1 to 1.3 million illegal aliens. We will secure the borders henceforth. We will never again bring forward another amnesty bill like this”. Every promise in this statement by the late Senator Kennedy has been broken by the Federal Government. From this 1986 Bill, approximately 3 Million Illegal Immigrants were given amnesty, 2-3 times more than the promised amount. The borders as we know have never been secured as promised. And of course, here we are 27 years later, talking about yet another “amnesty-like” bill after we were promised this would not happen again.
Any Comprehensive Immigration Reform, that rewards Illegal behavior, and at the same time does not compensate victims of crimes carried out by the hands of Illegal Immigrants, is unjust and I will do anything and everything I can do to ensure that does not happen.
My suggestion is to take all active participants involved in the Illegal Immigration market – the Federal Government, Companies that regularly hire Illegal Immigrants, Illegal Immigrants themselves, etc. – and force them to fill a “fund” that pays out to victims that have financial loss, and/or loss of life by the hands of Illegal Immigrants
– Directly or Indirectly.
Sir, my family did nothing wrong. We have never taken anything from anyone, no have we ever taken a penny from the government. We have always paid our own way, worked hard, and followed the law. We made the American Dream, and then lost everything at the hands of an Illegal Immigrant that the Federal Government has been letting happen for decades.
It is insulting to have most of the bloviators in front of the cameras painting Illegal Immigrants as victims, and the actual victims of these Illegal Immigrants ignored, dismissed, and not given any opportunity to give input.
Thank you for your time reading this correspondence, and I will anxiously await your response. Regards,
Jacob Franklin
